Most of KYLIN equestrian helmets are with removable and washable lining, different helmet comes with different lining style.

To clean the helmet, gently brush it with warm water and soft soap and allow to dry naturally. The helmets soft headliners (inside) can be removed and cleaned with mild soap and water then allowed to air dry. Do not put helmet materials in a dryer. Please consult your owners manual.

This is mainly based on use, exposure to the elements and treatment of the helmet. However, due to evolving helmet standards, technologies and the potential for unseen material deterioration, it is recommended that you replace your helmet after 3 to 4 years of average use. Any helmets once involved in an accident needs to be replaced immediately.

The protective effect of the helmet can be damaged as the result of a fall or a strong impact, even if there is no visible external damage. You should definitely replace a helmet after such an event, and never use a helmet which was involved in an accident!
